The city of Barcelona is covered with efficient bus service. You can
visit almost all the places in Barcelona and the suburb area by bus.
There are open top busses also, so you can get good view of the
area you travel. But tickets must be validated by the
clipping machines on boarding. There are special schemes such and discounts
and vouchers, please check them when you are buying tickets.
Usual bus service available from 5 am to 10.30 pm. Night bus service
available from 10 pm to 4 am next day in every 30 to 40 minutes.

If you are a visitor to the city, better get
a bus route map from transport information offices. Since routes are
colored in the maps, you can track them easily. There are maps also
in bus shelters. They display the bus routes, area map and where you are.
There are various bus services available by connecting Barcelona with
other European cities also. Those services provided by bus operators
such as Enarcar, Linebús, Eurolines Limited, Julià Via and some others.
If you are arriving from the airport, there are busses to city center.
This service is frequent and available from 6.00 am to 12.00 mid night.
It will take around 20 minutes to reach the city center, but depend
on the traffic.
